Over a half-day session, children will plan, make and evaluate their own wooden initials. They will be guided through each stage and shown how to use a variety of tools in a safe way. Children will use manual drills, saws and have the chance to smooth the edging using abrasive paper during the lesson. Learners will develop perseverance, concentration and resilience.
